Afro Global Alliance (GH) Volunteers with Feyenoord Fetteh Football Academy celebrates World TB Day 2007 at the La Pleasure Beach. The Beach Soccer was to create more awareness in the country on the TB epidemic.

The TB Voice Network, Coalition of NGOs in Health, Stop TB Ghana Partnership and other stakeholders were represented as Afro Global Alliance took on their opponents.

Alhassan Mohammed a dedicated TB advocate with other Afro Global Alliance members distributed advocacy materials during the match session.

The Feyenoord Ghana Ltd. Technical Director, Sam Arday admitted that TB can attack anyone and that the theme for the year is powerful.

The President, Afro Global Alliance Chief Austin Arinze Obiefuna also took his time to sensitize the crowd at the beach about TB disease, symptoms, prevention and cure.
